12-channel sound installation, vinyl lettering on windows

Forty-two blackbirds—each recorded in a different country*—enter into a polyphonic conversation. Vinyl lettering on the windows discloses the birds’ colloquial and zoological name as well as the places of their recording. Within this polyphony, the individual birds’ voices are not allocatable to the countries of their recording.
